Trauth Review is a small, independent review desk. This is where we publish what we learn running listings in the Ohio Valley.
What we believe
- Hosts, not marketers. Everyone on the team runs real listings; writing comes second.
- No paid placement. There is nothing on this site a vendor could purchase — that is the point.
- Plain language. Reviews here read like advice to a fellow host, not a press release.
What we cover
Owners face two separate decisions, so the site runs two tracks: 94 management-company reviews feeding a ranking of who we would trust with keys, and 74 software reviews feeding a ranking for owners who automate and keep the margin. Every company page quotes the provider’s own published details; a number the company keeps private appears as “not published”, never as an estimate.
How this is paid for
We sell nothing to the companies we cover: no ads, no affiliate cut, no sponsored rows in any table. A recommendation here is editorial judgement and nothing else — the reasoning lives in our editorial policy.
The honest limits
We are reviewers, not brokers, lawyers or accountants. An opinion is not lab data, published pricing goes stale, and no two markets rhyme — confirm terms directly and see our disclaimer.
